Job Description

**AECOM** is seeking a **Transportation Engineering Project Manager/Design Coordinator** to be based in **Phoenix, Arizona** to join our growing transit engineering practice.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ The Transportation Engineering project manager and Design Coordinator is a key position that will report into the US West Region Transit/Rail Engineering Group

+ The position includes responsibility for coordination and management of multidisciplinary teams on transportation planning studies, preliminary design studies and final design of transportation infrastructure projects.

+ The successful candidate may be asked to serve as an AECOM project manager, deputy project manager and/or design coordinator on selected projects and will coordinate, cooperate, and work collaboratively with others team members.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

+ BA/BS + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Masters degree preferred

+ Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain

+ Experience providing project management and coordination experience on transportation engineering design projects

+ Experience designing transit, transportation and bus rapid transit infrastructure

+ Experience with design software including InRoads, Civil 3D and/or OpenRoads

+ Experience with business development and client relations

+ Able to work out of our Phoenix, Arizona office

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $106000 to $130000.
