Delgado Community College is seeking a motivated and detail oriented individual to fill a full-time Custodian Supervisor B position to supervise custodians involved with maintaining the cleanliness and sanitary conditions of the college facilities.
This position will be filled as a Promotion open to only permanent classified employees of Delgado Community College.
Minimum Qualifications
Two years of experience in custodial, housekeeping, groundskeeping, or food service work.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
+ This position supervises 5 direct custodian supervisors.
+ Supervises and inspects custodial work performed by custodians and custodial supervisors. Assigns cleaning duties and areas of responsibility for a number of custodians according to campus needs. Trains staff and determines work assignments.
+ Keeps and maintains time, attendance, supply and equipment usage records. Inventories all cleaning supplies and equipment on a periodic basis. Oversees safekeeping of keys used in locking/unlocking areas to be cleaned as necessary. Approves work, approves leave.
+ Assists with preparation of the Department's Fiscal Budget and account allocations.
+ Tracks, reports, and prepares request for building repairs to the Department Manager, as well as, maintains personnel and equipment records for subordinates.
+ Assists in implementing and managing the Department's Safety program and ensures compliance by subordinates. Conducts Performance Management Evaluations and Planning sessions for subordinates.
