    Status: Full Time 36 hours/week

     

    Shifts: rotating day/night, typically 3-12's, every other holiday, every other weekend

    Responsibilities:

    + Deliver patient-centered care using critical thinking, strong clinical judgment, and thorough documentation to ensure safety, quality, and seamless transitions of care.

    + Build positive, collaborative relationships with patients, families, and colleagues while maintaining accountability, professionalism, and clear communication.

    + Provide effective patient and family education, support new staff and students, and contribute to a learning-focused, feedback-driven environment.

    + Engage in ongoing professional development, support unit goals, participate in shared governance, and adapt to change with a team-first mindset.

    + Contribute to quality improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities, using evidence-based practice, and helping elevate the overall patient experience.

    + Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

    + Demonstrated ability to build positive, professional relationships with patients, families, and all levels of staff.

    + Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

    + Physical ability to meet the demands of frequent walking, standing, lifting, and patient positioning.

    Licensure & Certifications:

    + Current RN license or Temporary Practice Permit (state or compact, as applicable).

    + BLS/CPR required within 30 days of hire.

    + ACLS required within 1 year; NIH Stroke Scale within 6 months.

    + Act 34 and OAPSA clearances required.

    + National certification preferred.
