Description and Qualifications
The Recruiting Coordinator ensures an effective recruitment process by supporting the Talent Acquisition Team and other People Resources Operations (PRO) team members, hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruiting life cycle. This position will directly impact candidate experience throughout the recruitment and hiring process. Supports organization with DEI initiatives.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
General Responsibilities
+ Posts job advertisements at various job boards, associations, and universities. Maintains and updates online presence for recruitment related activity.
+ Reviews inbound applications and conducts pre-screening interviews with candidates.
+ Serves as main point of contact for applicants.
+ Serves as point of contact for Hiring Managers and interviewers regarding candidate interview schedules.
+ Facilitates and participates in the panel interview process.
+ Gathers relevant data and updates metrics regarding staffing and recruiting.
+ Maintains recruitment status report and reporting dashboard.
+ Serves as an applicant tracking system (ATS) super user. Supports hiring managers with the use of the ATS.
+ Conducts annual and ongoing updates of ATS job templates.
+ Maintains accurate and thorough documentation of candidate interactions and hiring decisions.
+ May coordinate temporary staffing activities, as needed.
+ Composes offer letters and new-hire paperwork.
+ Conducts pre-employment compliance screenings including background, motor vehicle record and reference checks. Serves as primary point of contact for background and reference check vendors.
+ Facilitates pre-employment hire paperwork and start date coordination including onboarding logistics and partners with the PR Coordinator to schedule new hire orientations.
+ Supports PR Coordinator in conducting PRO New Employee Orientation as needed.
+ Partners with Information Technology department on new hire equipment and systems requirements
+ Performs research regarding best practices, competitor processes, alternative methods of recruiting, etc. to support sourcing strategies and recruiting and onboarding practices.
+ Writes behavioral and values-based interview questions.
+ Partners with the PR Coordinator to ensure all employee referral bonuses are recorded for payment tracking on successful referral hires.
People Resources Administration:
+ In partnership with the PR Coordinator, provides general PRO customer support to employees, leadership, and external customers.
+ Serves as Human Resources Information System (HRIS) super user.
+ Responds to employee inquiries about PRO related policy, general questions, etc.
+ Reviews and edits PRO related policy and procedure as needed.
Other Responsibilities :
+ Participates in, and may lead, employee committees and events.
+ Will follow other instructions/directions and will perform other related duties as required by the needs of the company and the leadership team.
+ Complies with applicable laws, regulations, and LifeCenter policies and procedures.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
+ Ability to learn and understand applicable local/state/federal regulations.
+ Maintains up-to-date knowledge of applicable state and federal laws specifically in relation to Recruiting, HRIS and Regulatory Compliance as well as other general PRO areas.
+ Strong working skills in Microsoft Office suite and other comparable software programs.
+ Multi-tasking, i.e., ability to function and complete work with competing priorities and expectations, good problem-solving skills.
+ Personal and interpersonal skills, i.e., clarity, diplomacy, consideration, sensitivity, confidentiality, and the ability to collaborate.

Physical Activities/Requirements
+ The individual must have the ability to communicate clearly using the English language to accurately convey information and be able to hear at normal speaking levels both in person and over the phone.
+ Travel requirements out of the general work area are infrequent.
+ This position requires the ability to effectively operate phones, computers, and other office equipment.
+ Specific vision abilities required by this position include reviewing material both on and off screen.
+ Generally, working conditions do not require exposure to hazardous materials nor extremes in health and safety hazards. Work is normally performed in an office or hospital setting, as well as other business environments.
+ The employee is required to move up to 25 pounds with or without assistance.
ANTICIPATED WEEKLY TIME COMMITMENT
+ The duties of this position will typically require 37 hours per week. Because of the nature of this position, the incumbent may need to work outside of regular business hours, including evenings and weekends, sometimes without advance notice.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & JOB REQUIREMENTS
+ A Bachelor’s degree preferred.
+ Relevant work experience can be substituted for academic and degree requirements.
+ Minimum 1-year experience in recruiting or Human/People Resources preferred.
+ Proof of COVID-19 vaccination, or applicable medical or religious exemption, will be required as a condition of employment upon offer.

The pay range for this role is provided above. Where a candidate’s compensation falls within this range is based on several bona fide factors such as experience, tenure, and other specialized knowledge. LifeCenter Northwest is committed to providing its employees equitable and competitive compensation.
This position is eligible for compensation in addition to the base pay in the form of overtime.
