    About the Role

     

    We are seeking a **Level 3 Technical Training Instructor** to join our Learning & Development team. In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver technical training programs that enhance aerospace manufacturing skills. You'll work closely with employees to improve performance through classroom instruction, hands-on activities, and coaching sessions.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Conduct learning requirements analysis and establish clear objectives.

    + Design and develop course content and instructional materials.

    + Deliver classroom and hands-on training in specialized areas such as Electrical, Structural, Quality, and Systems.

    + Facilitate knowledge transfer through teaching, coaching, and performance tracking.

    + Proctor exams and maintain compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

    + Conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions to qualify additional instructors.

    + Emphasize safety in all training activities and maintain a positive learning environment.

    + Assess training effectiveness and recommend process improvements.

    Day-to-Day Activities

    + Classroom instruction and hands-on technical training.

    + Proctoring exams and evaluating student performance.

    + Working on training enhancement projects.

    Basic Qualifications

    + 3+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing operations or support.

    + Experience in coaching, instructing, or employee development.

    + Ability to design and deliver leadership development curriculum.

    + Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints and detailed work instructions.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Aerospace Manufacturing and Lean certifications.

    + Experience with structural, electrical, repair, and systems work.

    + Hands-on mechanic experience in aerospace assembly.

    + Background in needs assessment and job analysis.

    Preferred Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

    Aerospace Manufacturing and Lean Certification(s)

     

    Experience with Structural, Electrical, Repair, Functional Test, Seal, Systems, etc.

     

    Experience as a mechanic working with structural, mechanical, electrical, or other systems

     

    Experience in the following areas: Electrician/Structure/Wing/Spar Assembly, Needs Assessment and Job Analysis

    Education / Experience:

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
