    In this role you will report to the Head of Pricing Strategy. This position is responsible for supporting the profitable growth of the Group Insurance blocks of business. Responsibilities include experience monitoring, market level analysis, and evaluating and implementing pricing strategies for all Group coverages.

    You will

    + Develop and implement new business durational pricing strategies aligned with the organization’s long-term strategic plan

    + Collaborate with Product and Distribution partners to develop framework to drive profitable growth in underpenetrated markets

    + Monitor performance of local market initiatives and conduct analysis to design programs that maximize return on investment

    + Support strategic plan aspirations and contribute to strategies that enable achievement of long-term goals

    + Partner with the Group Pricing Technical team to integrate strategic and tactical objectives into go-to-market pricing recommendations

    + Support strategic financial plan in projecting impact of mix in business by coverage, size, and duration

    + Optimize pricing playbook to holistically evaluate all products and include all stakeholders when making pricing recommendations

    You have

    + A deep understanding of group pricing practices including the use of experience

    + Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills

    + Strong collaboration and communication skills, both verbal and written

    + Ability to communicate pricing analyses to technical and non-technical audiences

    + Ability to manage multiple projects with multiple deliverables simultaneously

    + Adapts to changing business priorities and environments

    + Fellow Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation or equivalent group finance experience

    + Strong analytical and technical skills with the ability to synthesize sophisticated information

    + Data visualization, machine learning, and predictive analytics experience preferred

    Location:

    Hybrid role - 3 days in a Guardian office located in Holmdel, NJ; Bethlehem PA; or Hudson Yards, NYC. 2 days WFH. 10% Travel to other offices as determined by the People Leader

    Salary Range:

    $126,910.00 - $208,495.00

     

    The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
