ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATORY ENGINEER

RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Collect, organize, and analyze large environmental monitoring datasets from various sources to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights

+ Monitor ongoing data collection processes to ensure consistent and accurate data acquisition for future efforts

+ Identify and address data gaps, inconsistencies, or missing information, working to close these gaps proactively

+ Develop dashboards and reporting tools that provide real-time insights into key metrics and performance indicators

+ Translate complex data findings into clear, concise reports that tell a meaningful narrative

+ Collaborate with communications and marketing teams to translate data insights into clear, easy-to-understand narratives for public consumption

+ Help design and implement public campaigns that provide information and address concerns in an interactive, engaging way

+ Contribute to the creation of public-facing dashboards, websites, or apps that provide timely, digestible updates in a user-friendly format

+ Serve as a key liaison between data teams, communications, and external stakeholders to ensure that all messaging is backed by reliable, insightful data

+ Provide expert advice to senior leadership, public relations teams, and external partners regarding data findings

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Bachelor's degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Advanced proficiency in data analytics and statistical modeling

+ Excellent ability to communicate complex data insights in an accessible, public-friendly manner

+ Strong writing and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences

+ Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including marketing, communications, and leadership

+ Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights

+ Creative thinker with a knack for developing interactive and engaging ways to share data

+ Proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment, often with shifting priorities

+ Passionate about using data to influence positive public engagement and foster informed decision-making

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

+ This is nota remote or hybrid position and will require relocation if not already local to the Cape Canaveral, Florida area

+ Position occasionally requires the ability to work extended hours or weekends when needed

+ Ability to travel to various locations included but not limited to; Florida, California, Texas

+ Ability to travel internationally if required
