    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Fullstack Developer to join our large insurance client, specifically their contact center technology team. This engineer will have extensive coding responsibilities and need to feel equally confident in frontend and backend work. Day-to-day, they will be designing, developing, and maintaining applications using Java and Angular or React. Additionally, they'll develop and customize Cisco Finesse softphone solutions, including gadget development, and integrate Finesse solutions with other enterprise systems and third-party applications. This developer will collaborate with other developers as well as product owners and BAs to gather and clarify requirements and compete proper documentation to design and deliver high-quality solutions. They'll take part in agile and scrum processes and would ideally have experience with Azure APIM, different databases, and CI/CD pipelines. The developer should feel comfortable performing code reviews and unit/integration testing to support the QA process.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 7+ years of experience as a fullstack engineer

     

    - Strong experience in Cisco Finesse gadget development

     

    - Well-versed with Java and related frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate

     

    - Proficient in front-end technologies such as Angular or React as well as HTML, CSS, and Javascript

     

    - Self-motivated and great communication skills - Experience in Azure API Management (APIM), including API gateway configuration, policy creation and security implementation

     

    - Background in relational (SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB or Cosmos DB)

     

    - Ability to develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines
