    The Role:

    The Project Engineer is responsible for designing and managing projects for high purity water systems. It requires a high-energy and hands-on individual. You need to enjoy getting out and talking to customers as much as you like to design. Your end goal here is to create specialized water systems that meet the needs of our growing customer base of high-tech manufacturing companies.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design water system solutions to fit customer needs

    • Project Management

    • Draft proposals for new water systems

    • Support regional sales team with technical engineering support

    • Engauge with customers to understand scope and design

    • Plan and coordinate projects from conception to completion

    • Maintain accurate records and documentation

    • Manage timelines and budgets

    • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues

    • Collaborate with team members during project lifecycles

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors of Science Degree, in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering. Or similar degree or relevant experience

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Basic computer skills, having knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

    • Experience in AutoCad is a plus

    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. The ability to build and develop effective relationships with both colleagues and customers is key

    The estimated salary range for this position is $70K to $75K. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.  At Xylem we offer a competitive compensation package with a generous benefit package, including Medical, Dental, Vision plans, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement.
