    What You’ll Do…

    1. **New Model Launch and Certification:**

    2. Ensure regulatory compliance (FMVSS/CMVSS) for new models by confirming inspection items, auditing content, and managing pre-build and launch audits.

    3. Participate in new model launch meetings, coordinating and reporting on quality prevention processes (e.g., Campaigns Need Prevention, Fresh Eyes Review).

    4. Manage vehicle holds (e.g., 1 in 36, regulatory items, pre-Job-1 units) and ensure proper certification, exemption, and labeling before vehicle release.

    5. Verify emission certifications and ensure accurate updates to vehicle information systems for component variations.

    9. Monitor and manage MCIR/QLS processes, ensuring inspection items are captured and effectively documenting audit findings.

    10. Implement and verify containment actions for quality concerns, including Stop Ships and yard campaigns, reporting significant issues to management.

    11. Provide real-time quality feedback to departments and review compliance/error-proofing concerns from all audits.

    12. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies, validating regulatory items affected by engineering changes.

    13. Manage all aspects of Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) compliance, including labeling, stamping, verification, depth validation, and record-keeping.

    14. Coordinate and represent the plant during investigations and reviews by external agencies (e.g., NHTSA, CARB, FBI, OGC) and internal company officials.

    15. Assure proper identification, organization, filing, and disposition of all GRC records.

    16. Review incoming material documents, test results, and equipment certifications, including witnessing critical process checks.

    17. Keep plant management informed of all pertinent compliance concerns.

    18. **Cross-Functional Support and Reporting:**

    19. Support the Incoming Quality Organization regarding regulatory concerns from suppliers.

    20. Assist dealers with regulatory items, replacement VIN labels, and build information related to plant errors.

    21. Generate and present comprehensive reports on quality, compliance, and audit findings (e.g., CDC non-compliance, Finished Vehicle Audit findings, MCIR concerns, Process Audits, Fresh Eye concerns) to plant and corporate management.

    22. **Process Improvement and Personnel Development:**

    23. Review production letters for quality and regulatory issues, implement GRC best practices, and support continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Six Sigma projects).

    24. Identify GRC personnel training needs and provide training to new supervisors, Senior Process Coaches, and Area Managers.
