    **Location:** Utah Valley Clinic | Intermountain Health

    **Status:** PRN (as needed) | **Shift:** Varied

    **Pay Range:** $29.14 – $44.94/hour (dependent upon experience)

    Position Overview

    This PRN Float Pool position provides coverage for multiple clinics in the **Canyons South Market** , including Utah County, Park City, and Heber. While Utah Valley Clinic is the home base, travel between clinics is required, and mileage re-

     

    imbursement may apply.

    Key Details:

    + **Scheduled Hours:** PRN or as needed

    + **Shift:** Hours vary based on clinic needs

    + **Training:** Must be completed within 4 weeks; PRN caregivers work at least 4 shifts per month

    + **Float Pool Coverage:** Clinics open as early as 6:30 AM and as late as midnight (InstaCare)

    + **Shifts:** Typically 8–12 hours; full shift coverage required

    + **Additional Duties:** InstaCare Rad Techs also assist as modified Medical Assistants; MA Foundations training provided if needed

    Essential Functions

    + Maintain ARRT competency and perform exams per protocol

    + Ensure accurate patient identification and order verification

    + Adhere to radiation safety and infection control standards

    + Review images for quality and accuracy

    + Provide patient education and comfort

    + Assist students and peers with protocols and positioning

    + Operate imaging equipment and maintain accurate records

    + Follow protocols for coding, charging, consents, and QC programs

    Minimum Qualifications

    + ARRT(R) Certification

    + Radiologic Technologist License (State Issuing Authority)

    + Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

    + Ability to complete MA Competency Checklist and assist in clinic settings

    Preferred Qualifications

    + 1–2 years radiology experience

    + IV Certification

    The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

     

    $29.14 - $44.94
