    Our client, a leading organization in the technology and cloud services industry, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Site Reliability Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Platform Engineering department supporting the infrastructure and operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, proactive thinking, and a passion for automation and reliability, which will align successfully within the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Site Reliability Engineer

    **Location:** Fort Mill, SC - onsite 3x a week

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Create and maintain dashboards to observe, monitor, and set up alert systems across various platforms and tools.

    + Provide oversight for production operations to maximize system reliability and automation.

    + Design, implement, and evolve SRE procedures, tooling, and scalable solutions to enhance service quality.

    + Develop and deploy full-stack observability, monitoring, and event management integrations.

    + Facilitate CI/CD frameworks, release management, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform, Jenkins, and others across hybrid/multi-cloud environments.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Strong knowledge of creating dashboards and alert systems on various platforms and tools such as Splunk, ELK, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, and Thousand Eyes.

    + Experience in designing and implementing scalable, reliable solutions and automation processes.

    + Proficiency in DevOps practices, including CI/CD, release management, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Jenkins, and cloud native tools.

    + Solid developer background with the ability to relate application layers to infrastructure platforms.

    + Ability to quickly learn new tools, scripting languages, or frameworks as needed.
