As a **Security Officer - Access Control Logistics** in **Laredo, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and support a secure atmosphere. What You'll Do:

+ Control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.

+ Assist with visitor and vehicle management, including logging information and issuing passes as required.

+ Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.

+ Monitor surveillance equipment and report irregularities or suspicious activities to the appropriate contacts.

+ Support emergency response activities as directed and assist in coordinating with local authorities when necessary.

+ Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.

+ Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

+ Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
