Job Purpose:
The Director, Premium Player Analytics is the analytics leader for our premium and premium mass business. This role owns the insights, models, and tools that drive multi-million-dollar decisions on reinvestment, offers, host contact strategy, and premium/premium mass guest growth.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Premium Player Segmentation & Insights
• Develop and maintain segmentation for premium and premium mass players based on behavior, worth, profitability, and growth potential.
• Monitor portfolio health and identify opportunities to increase visitation, frequency, wallet share, and retention.
• Deliver concise, actionable insight packages for leadership focused on premium performance and trends.
• Serves as primary point of contact for enhancements to CRM system for hosted players for upgrades, enhancements, and overall optimization.
+ Player Development & Reinvestment Optimization
• Serve as the primary analytics partner to Player Development leadership.
• Build host- and segment-level views, scorecards, and prioritized player lists to guide prospecting, retention, and reactivation.
• Design and maintain frameworks for reinvestment, comping guidelines, and host discretion to ensure disciplined, profitable decisions.
• Evaluate offers, events, and benefits targeting premium segments and recommend optimization based on performance.
• Design and optimize communication strategy for Player Development.
+ Reporting, Tools & Data Enablement
• Partner with analysts, IT, and vendors to ensure accurate, timely, and consistent data for premium player decision-making.
• Develop and enhance dashboards and tools that support Player Development, Marketing, Gaming Operations, and senior leadership.
• Establish and maintain clear standards, definitions, and data quality for premium-related analytics.
• Own technical relationship with CRM vendor and ensure host priorities and management directives are input properly
+ Cross-Functional Leadership & Executive Support
• Act as subject matter expert for premium player analytics in discussions with senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Translate complex analysis into clear, concise recommendations and options for executives and team members alike.
• Collaborates with the Director Enterprise Analytics, Vice President of Marketing, Director of Player Development, and casino marketing leadership to align priorities with enterprise revenue and guest experience goals.
Job Specifications:
Education and Experience:
Essential:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative, business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
+ Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in analytics, database marketing, strategy, or related fields.
+ Experience with VIP/premium or high-value customer portfolios in gaming, hospitality, or loyalty-driven environments strongly preferred.
+ Proven track record of driving measurable revenue and profitability improvements through analytics.
Skills and Knowledge:
Essential:
+ Strong proficiency in SQL and analytical tools; experience with data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
+ Knowledge of segmentation, predictive modeling, reinvestment economics, and campaign measurement
+ Application of advanced statistical techniques (e.g., regression, clustering, machine learning) in a business setting
+ Strong commercial acumen and ability to connect insights to financial and operational outcomes
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to influence cross-functional partners and executives
+ Ability to analyze, compile and disseminate complex information in a clear and concise manner to senior executives, peers, and player development teams
+ Ability to maintain organization, meet deadlines, possess integrity, confidentiality, and discretion in handling confidential information
+ Strong organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple high-impact initiatives concurrently
+ Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in all situations
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
+ Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in the English language
