    Job Title: Material Handler

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team at a sterilization plant. The primary focus of this role involves managing both incoming and outgoing materials and associated documentation in a dynamic warehouse environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Handle incoming and outgoing material and documentation (Receiving and Shipping).

    + Utilize MHE (Forklift and/or Walkie Rider) to move pallets within the warehouse.

    + Operate RF Scanners and computers to process work orders and manage shipping tasks.

    + Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing a respirator in designated sterilization areas.

    Essential Skills

    + MHE Experience (Sit down Forklift)

    + Comfortable working in a hot environment

    + Ability to wear a respirator (no facial hair)

    + Proficient in using RF Scanners and computers

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with both forklift and walkie rider

    Work Environment

     

    This role is based in a sterilization plant where wearing a respirator is mandatory. You will be fitted for a respirator after your first week. The environment is very hot and lacks temperature control, demanding adaptability and resilience.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Waukegan, IL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
