    Job Title: Fabricator** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings, and to operate various fabrication equipment effectively. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in metal fabrication, welding, and sheet metal work, and will be proficient in using manual machines and hand tools.

    Responsibilities

    + Interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings.

    + Operate fabrication equipment including drill presses, milling machines, lathes, saws, sheet metal shears, and brakes.

    + Utilize a full range of hand tools for cutting, shaping, and assembly.

    + Construct base templates when required.

    + Measure and mark cutting and bending lines with accuracy.

    + Verify design specifications before commencing fabrication work.

    + Fabricate and assemble metal components to meet project requirements.

    + Perform quality checks on completed products to ensure compliance with standards.

    + Adhere to all state and company safety regulations.

    + Execute welding tasks as part of fabrication projects.

    + Use Epicor ERP software to support production and workflow management.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in metal fabrication, welding, and sheet metal work.

    + Skilled in reading blueprints and technical drawings.

    + Proficient with manual machines (mills, lathes, bores), bandsaws, drill presses, and hand tools.

    + Knowledge of safety standards and quality control practices.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Industrial manufacturing experience preferred.

    + Experience with Epicor ERP is a strong plus.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfield, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
