Job Title: Stationary Engineer
Job Description
As a Stationary Engineer, you will operate and maintain boilers, compressors, chillers, and HVAC systems. You will assist in installing packaging and production equipment, utilizing both vertical and horizontal packaging equipment. You will also use the CMMS system to order parts, track work orders, and complete orders. Your role involves making necessary adjustments to equipment to maintain required steam quality and maximize efficiency. Immediate reporting of accidents or hazardous incidents is essential, and you will prepare the plant for maintenance using proper LOTO and SWP procedures.
Responsibilities
+ Operate and maintain boilers, compressors, chillers, and HVAC systems.
+ Assist with installation of packaging and production equipment.
+ Utilize the CMMS system for ordering parts and tracking work orders.
+ Adjust equipment to maintain steam quality and efficiency.
+ Report accidents or hazardous incidents immediately.
+ Prepare the plant for maintenance using LOTO and SWP procedures.
Essential Skills
+ 4+ years of stationary engineering experience in a manufacturing or large commercial setting.
+ City of Chicago - Stationary License.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Knowledge of boiler maintenance and plumbing.
+ Experience with mechanical maintenance repair, compressors, HVAC, and boiler systems.
+ Utility operator and maintenance technician experience.
+ Experience in preventive maintenance and plant engineering.
+ Knowledge in electrical systems, steam testing, and water testing.

Work Environment
Be prepared for a dynamic work environment with open shifts for 1st and 3rd, operating on a 6-6 rotation. The work schedule follows a 4-week rotation: 2 weeks on nights, 2 weeks on days, with a shift pattern of 2 days on/2 days off, including 7 consecutive days off once per month. Adherence to safety protocols is mandatory, requiring PPE and GMP such as hair nets, beard nets, face masks, and steel-toed shoes.

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
