    About the Organization

     

    Our client, a mission-driven nonprofit organization, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support community members by providing accurate information, guidance, and administrative assistance. This role serves as a key point of contact for individuals accessing programs and services and requires a strong commitment to customer service and community impact.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Serve as the primary point of contact for community members via phone, email, and in-person interactions

    + Handle inbound and outbound calls related to programs, services, and general inquiries

    + Collect, enter, and maintain accurate participant information in internal databases and case management systems

    + Assist individuals with applications, forms, and general documentation

    + Provide clear information regarding available services, eligibility requirements, and next steps

    + Resolve inquiries professionally and escalate complex or sensitive matters as appropriate

    + Maintain detailed and accurate records while ensuring confidentiality

    + Collaborate with internal teams to support program operations and positive client outcomes

    + Uphold the organization’s mission, values, and commitment to equity and inclusion

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    + 1+ year of experience in customer service, call center, or client-facing role

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills

    + Experience with data entry and database or CRM systems

    + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

    + Ability to manage a high volume of inquiries in a fast-paced environment

    + Professional, empathetic, and service-oriented approach

    + Previous experience in a nonprofit, social services, healthcare, or community-based organization is a plus
