Description Senior Accountant Location: City of Industry, CA Employment Type: Contract-to-permanent / permanent Industry: Manufacturing / Distribution (Client Confidential) Overview: Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing organization in the City of Industry, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and confident in managing complex accounting functions with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities Perform full-cycle accounting, including month-end and year-end close. Prepare and analyze financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliations. Manage general ledger accuracy and ensure compliance with GAAP. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Assist with audits (internal and external) and implement process improvements. Maintain fixed assets, accruals, and prepaid schedules. Partner with cross-functional teams to support financial operations. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong understanding of GAAP and standard accounting practices. Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred). Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Experience in manufacturing or distribution a plus, but not required.
