    Mobile Mechanic – Limestone Terminal (Grantsville, UT)

     

    Schedule: Full-time

     

    Pay: $32-$35

    About the Role

    Our limestone terminal in Grantsville, UT is looking for a dependable and skilled Mobile Mechanic to maintain and repair a variety of light to mid-duty equipment used throughout the terminal. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, staying busy, and keeping operations running smoothly.

     

    Ideal candidates will have experience with automotive or diesel systems and be comfortable working on a wide range of equipment.

    Equipment You'll Work On

    + Light and mid-duty mobile equipment

    + Forklifts

    + Small loaders

    + Pallet jacks (manual and electric)

    + Utility vehicles used throughout the terminal

    + Basic support equipment used in daily mining terminal operations

    Responsibilities

    + Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on terminal mobile equipment.

    + Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.

    + Complete preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.

    + Repair or replace components such as brakes, hoses, belts, filters, starters, batteries, and small engine parts.

    + Keep accurate maintenance logs and communicate equipment status to supervisors.

    + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

    + Travel between on-site areas within the terminal as needed (all local—no long-distance travel).

    Requirements

    + 2–4 years of mechanic experience (automotive, diesel, or equipment strongly preferred).

    + Experience working on forklifts, loaders, or similar light industrial equipment is a plus.

    + Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

    + Ability to read and understand equipment manuals and diagnostic information.

    + Must be able to work independently and manage daily workload.

    + Valid driver's license; ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
