Currently seeking a full-time Speech Therapist for our Outpatient Neuro Rehabilitation Program in Ankeny, Iowa. This position primarily works Monday-Friday, typically between 8a-6p. (varying hours on some days) To qualify, candidates must be licensed to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). This role delivers person-centered care as part of a collaborative transdisciplinary team supporting individuals with a wide range of neurological conditions.
Responsibilities of the Speech Therapist (SLP):
+ Provide therapeutic services for a diverse neuro population, including individuals with brain injuries, strokes, Parkinson's disease, post-COVID, movement disorders, and more.
+ Collaborate with other disciplines to create and implement person-centered treatment plans.
+ Document therapy sessions and maintain compliance with clinical standards.
+ Adapt to a fast-paced, evolving clinical environment focused on quality care and innovation.

Requirements of the Speech Therapist (SLP):
+ Active Iowa license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
+ Regulatory maintenance of ASHA certification with a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence
+ Ability to periodically drive on behalf of On With Life
+ Ability to maintain CPR certification (training provided if needed)
Preferred Qualification of the Speech Therapist (SLP):
+ 1+ years of experience practicing as a Speech Therapist (SLP)
+ Experience working in a neuro rehabilitative setting
+ CBIS, LSVT, or NDT certified
