Flex Security Officer

**Location:** Metro West (Westborough, Framingham, Waltham, Marlborough, and surrounding areas)

**Schedule:** Open Availability Required — 24/7, All Shifts

Our **Flex Security Officers** are among the most critical positions in our organization — highly adaptable team members who step in to support operations at multiple client sites, ensuring seamless coverage and top-tier security service.

This position is ideal for individuals who are **reliable, committed, and able to work any shift** on short notice. Flex Officers maintain order, protect people and property, and sustain a strong security presence across diverse Metro West locations.

Job Responsibilities

As a Flex Security Officer, you will:

+ **Provide Coverage Across Client Sites:** Support security operations at various Metro West locations, often on short notice, ensuring all shifts are filled.

+ **Surveillance & Monitoring:** Observe and patrol premises to detect suspicious activity, safety hazards, or unauthorized access.

+ **Access Control:** Verify identification, issue guest passes, and maintain secure entry points.

+ **Emergency Response:** React quickly to alarms, medical emergencies, fire hazards, or security incidents and coordinate with emergency responders when necessary.

+ **Incident Reporting:** Write detailed, accurate incident reports documenting any security or safety concerns.

+ **Patrol Duties:** Conduct foot or vehicle patrols, inspecting entrances, perimeters, and high-traffic areas for irregularities.

+ **Customer Service:** Provide assistance, directions, and support to visitors and employees with a friendly and professional demeanor.

+ **Safety Inspections:** Identify and report potential hazards to maintain a safe environment.

+ **Conflict Resolution:** De-escalate minor conflicts and maintain calm, professional interactions.

+ **Team Collaboration:** Coordinate with local site officers, supervisors, and emergency personnel to support consistent security operations.

Qualifications

+ Strong observational skills and attention to detail.

+ Calm, professional demeanor under pressure.

+ Excellent communication skills.

+ Integrity, reliability, and commitment to safety protocols.

+ Intermediate computer proficiency.

Requirements

+ At least 18 years old.

+ Reliable transportation and communication.

+ Must be willing and able to work **all shifts** — including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.

+ Authorized to work in the United States.

+ Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.

+ High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
