    Job Summary

    Iron Mountain** **is seeking** **a motivated Destruction Technician** **to join our** **Operations** **team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for** **accurately and securely processing and destroying all materials** **delivered to the facility.

     

    **Schedule:** 6am- 2:30PM (flexibility required as hours will adjust)

     

    What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

    In this role, you will:

    + **Execute** **the material destruction process, including cutting open bags, dumping payloads, emptying and sorting material by grade.**

    + **Maintain** **operational efficiency by safely operating destruction machinery, performing regular equipment cleaning, and handling emergency equipment repairs as needed.**

    + **Ensure** **compliance by maintaining strict security of all customer material and vehicles, and keeping the work area clean, following all safety and regulatory standards.**

     

    What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

    The ideal candidate will have:

    + **Current experience** **in a production or warehousing environment.**

    + **Proven ability** **to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy bags, pushing rolling carts, and pulling two-and four-wheeled containers weighing up to 225 pounds.**

    + **Strong knowledge** **of machinery operation, with preference given to candidates possessing Bobcat and Forklift experience.**

    + **Ability** **to work an 8-hour shift in a non-climate controlled atmosphere, which includes about five hours spent on machine operation (Forklift/Bobcat).**
