Summary You will serve as a MARINE TRANSPORTATION SPECISLIST in the Commander, Military Sealift Command Pacific's (MSCPAC's)/Combat Logistics THIRD FLEET's (CTF 33), Operations Department of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND PACIFIC. Responsibilities You will receive deployment orders from higher authority and task assets in the C3F AO as the C3F Operational Logistics Scheduler. You will maintaining open lines of communications for frequent exchange of operational information and interface with the TYCOM Staff. You will review reports submitted by ships and other data collected by assigned staff ensuring the maintenance of appropriate historical files, records or databases. You will coordinate and schedule ammunition ship (T-AKE/T-AOE) readiness programs, with particular emphasis on ammunition certification and safety programs for assigned ships. You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal. You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination. You will lead the CTF 33 Scheduling Team directing TACON responsibilities over vessels assigned by C3F and CPF. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-13 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Specialized experience: Experience demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of CTF 33, including its operational, tactical, and administrative relationships with Fleet Commanders, Mission Sponsors, Military Sealift Command (Type Commander), and the Coast Guard. Experience involving in-depth knowledge of combat logistics force, service support, and special mission's ships, including scheduling, maintenance, and readiness of these vessels. Experience planning and coordinating replenishment at sea, expeditionary, tow and salvage, and special mission operations. Experience reviewing and drafting naval messages, including those related to Fleet and TYCOM operations. Experience utilizing the MS Office Suite with proficiency.
