Duties Description The duties of this position within the Business Innovation Bureau will include but are not limited to the following:• Lead and coordinate business analysis activities. • Manage the relationship with project stakeholders to identify, model and document business process and data requirements.• Translate technical complexities to project stakeholders, ensuring thorough understanding of design decisions.• Work closely with the Project Team to ensure analysis activities are properly estimated and included in the project schedule.• Serve as an external coordinator between NYS Parks, NYS Information Technology Services (ITS), and external vendors.• Serve as an internal liaison between the various bureaus depending on vendor solutions.• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for a subset of connectivity projects and enhancements.• Assist facilities with implementation of vendor software updates, hardware updates, and user training, including prioritization of implementation and establishing and mitigating timelines.• Troubleshoot application errors and hardware issues impacting vendor solutions, including research and information gathering, documentation, testing, implementing resolutions and analyzing outcomes.• Work with the Project Team to ensure requirements’ gathering stays within scope or enact a change request if the scope needs to be revisited.• Schedule, develop, perform, and analyze results from testing on any projects in progress.• Develop training and user support materials in support projects.• Provide project support as needed.• Perform other duties as assigned.
