The Department of Neurological Sciences at the Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine ( LCOM ) in alliance with University of Vermont ( UVM ) Health seeks to recruit a physician to join our evolving programs in Neuro-oncology and General-Comprehensive Neurology.
This is a full-time position at 1.0 FTE with a corresponding faculty appointment in the Department of Neurological Sciences at LCOM . Clinical responsibilities are anticipated to be approx. 80% neuro-oncology and 20% general neurology. Accordingly, applicants must be Neurology Board eligible/certified with fellowship training in neuro-oncology.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join the University of Vermont Cancer Center, a collaborative group of physicians, scientists, caregivers, and staff dedicated to advancing prevention, detection, treatment, and survivorship of cancer. The Neuro-Oncology Transdisciplinary Team is the newest division of the Cancer Service Line at UVM Health offering comprehensive, multi-disciplinary neuro-oncologic care including clinical expertise in neurology, neuro-oncology, radiation oncology, neurosurgery, neuro-pathology, and neuro-radiology; participation in local, regional and national clinical trials; collaborative transdisciplinary research; and medical student, resident and fellow education.

Anticipated Pay Range
Assistant Professor: $285,000 – $295,000
Associate Professor: $295,000 – $305,000
Professor: $305,000 – $315,000
The referenced salary ranges reflect the combined total range based on dual employment by both the University of Vermont and the University of Vermont Health Medical Group. The salary ranges do not include all components of compensation. Therefore, the actual compensation paid to the selected candidate may vary from the salary ranges stated herein.
