About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Laboratory Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform critical testing and analysis to ensure the quality and consistency of personal care ingredients and finished products. This position is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in laboratory practices and a passion for maintaining high standards in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
+ Perform routine QC testing on personal care ingredients and products, including:
+ Viscosity testing
+ pH testing
+ Other physical and chemical property evaluations
+ Accurately document and review test results in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and company quality standards.
+ Conduct repetitive testing to ensure consistency and reliability of data.
+ Manage quality orders and desk work, including data entry and reporting.
+ Utilize Laboratory Management Systems (LMS) and other quality systems for data migration and record-keeping.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain product integrity.
+ Support continuous improvement initiatives within the QC laboratory.

Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience with personal care ingredients, essential oils, perfumes, or cosmetics.
+ Familiarity with regulated environments and quality systems.
+ Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software tools.
+ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Experience Level
+ Intermediate – 1-3 years of experience in a laboratory or quality control setting (open to candidates from all industries).

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wharton, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
