What You’ll Do

+ Design Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEP) systems for regional projects.

+ Use AutoCAD and coordinate with CAD operators for accurate, timely designs.

+ Manage small and medium-sized projects; assist on large, complex projects under principal supervision.

+ Prepare permits, proposals, RFIs, load calculations, wiring sizes, construction documents, and reports.

+ Apply knowledge of NEC, building codes, and standards throughout design phases.

What We’re Looking For

+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.

+ Experience: MEP design project experience.

+ Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.

+ Soft Skills: Strong communication and organizational abilities.

+ Preferred: EIT or P.E. certification (not required), experience with large-scale projects (schools, hospitals, VA).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middletown, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $40.86/hr.
