    Job Title: Construction Superintendent

    Job Description

    We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead various construction projects and manage multiple trade contractor crews during construction and through turnover. This role supports a commercial general contractor renowned for delivering high-quality customer interiors and renovation projects across sectors such as restaurants, retail, hospitality, office spaces, and complex exterior work.

    Responsibilities

    + Report to the Senior VP of Construction Operations and collaborate with Project Managers for each project.

    + Coordinate with trade contractors and their subcontractors to ensure completion of high-quality work.

    + Supervise large, complex projects from inception to completion.

    + Document and communicate work plans effectively.

    + Manage the project budget for general contracting and site services.

    + Monitor safety performance and ensure safety compliance.

    + Lead weekly contractor meetings and oversee daily field reports.

    + Communicate effectively with architects and owners.

    Essential Skills

    + 5+ years of experience supporting custom interior construction projects valued at $1 million.

    + Experience working with general contractors, owners, or designers.

    + Experience supporting Food & Beverage projects.

    + Proficiency in running safety procedures.

    + Experience in independently running a project.

    + Experience in managing subcontractors.

    + Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and presentation skills.

    + Client interfacing experience.

    + Ability to manage a fast-paced environment.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in a related field is a plus.

    Work Environment

    The work environment involves 90% of time spent on project sites and 10% in the office for meetings and documentation. Projects are located in the DMV area and typically last 4-6 months. Onsite hours are from 6:30 am to 2:00 pm, depending on noise restrictions. The company is known for specializing in large luxury interiors, including hotels, offices, and restaurants, with projects ranging from $500k to $20 million.     Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
