Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Job Description
We are urgently seeking Electrical Engineers of all levels of experience who are passionate about MEP and have a strong work ethic to join a dynamic team of professionals. Contribute to Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection design projects in various sectors including schools, healthcare, business, and retail industries.
Responsibilities
+ Design electrical systems for regional projects across various sectors such as schools, healthcare, business, and retail.
+ Utilize AutoCAD and collaborate with CAD operators to ensure precision in designs and timely project completion.
+ Manage projects by working with other engineers or designers and perform design functions on small and medium-sized projects.
+ Perform engineering designs on large and/or complex projects under the direction of a principal, including interfacing with other personnel.
+ Demonstrate understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and familiarity with building codes, standards, and structures.
+ Contribute to design functions as a team member on medium and large projects under the supervision of a PM/Principal.
+ Handle permits, proposals, RFIs, electrical load calculations, size wiring, construction documents, and engineering reports.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
+ Relevant MEP design project experience.
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
+ Excellent communication skills.
+ Understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ EIT or P.E certification (not required).
+ Experience with commercial and large-scale projects such as schools, hospitals, and VA facilities.
+ Familiarity with building systems and design.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middletown, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $90000.00/hr.
