    Job Title: US Industrialization Project Manager - Senior

    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in tooling and industrial equipment procurement and installation. This role will lead end-to-end project execution for new equipment installations, upgrades, and tooling projects, ensuring alignment with production requirements, budget, and timeline.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for tooling and equipment projects.

    + Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, maintenance, and suppliers.

    + Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

    + Source and evaluate suppliers for tooling and industrial equipment.

    + Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to ensure cost-effective procurement.

    + Manage vendor relationships and oversee compliance with specifications and quality standards.

    + Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of industrial equipment and tooling.

    + Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements during installation.

    + Validate equipment performance and handover to operations.

    + Track project costs and ensure adherence to approved budgets.

    + Prepare regular status reports for stakeholders and management.

    + Drive continuous improvement in project execution and cost efficiency.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

    + 5 years of project management experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.

    + Proven expertise in tooling and industrial equipment procurement and installation.

    + Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment specifications.

    + Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.

    + Proficiency in project management tools like MS Project, SAP, or similar.

    + Strong communication and leadership abilities.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + PMP or equivalent project management certification.

    + Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.

    Work Environment

    The position is located at a plant in Virginia within the Manufacturing/Engineering department. The work environment involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and requires adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements. The role demands strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage projects and vendor relationships.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Dublin, VA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $44.00 - $45.00/hr.
