Description
We are seeking a Sr Software Engineer with strong experience in One Semi-Automated Forces (OneSAF) development and integration.
This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced modeling and simulation capabilities for defense applications.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Agile development practices and a deep understanding of simulation architectures.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain OneSAF software components and related simulation functionality.
Collaborate with end users, government customers, and subject matter experts to define requirements and implement new features.
Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups.
Conduct integration and testing of OneSAF components to ensure system reliability and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve software issues across development and test environments.
Utilize modern development tools and practices to ensure code quality and maintainability.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Hands-on experience with OneSAF development and integration.
Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming (Java preferred) and simulation frameworks.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum experience a plus).
Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Git, Enterprise Architect, Eclipse, and Microsoft SQL Server.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52.00 - $62.00/hr.
