Job Description
We are seeking a Compounder to join our team! In this role, you will ensure that all mixing operations meet company standards for safety, quality, and compliance with regulatory requirements, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Key Responsibilities:
+ Adhere to all company policies regarding employee safety, quality assurance, and regulatory standards.
+ Set up and operate assigned mixing machines to produce finished products that meet customer specifications and compliance requirements.
+ Utilize hand tools as needed for machine operation and adjustments.
+ Train and assist team members in the proper use of mixing equipment.
+ Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of equipment during product changeovers.
+ Inspect machinery before start-up and after changeovers to ensure readiness.
+ Take ownership of mixing outcomes by accurately following work orders, troubleshooting issues, and escalating concerns when necessary.
+ Maintain clear, accurate, and legible documentation and records.
+ Collaborate with maintenance and quality assurance teams to achieve production goals.
+ Support other departments as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.
+ Attend all required company training sessions.
Required Skills
+ Chemical mixing and compounding
+ GMP compliance
+ Blending and batch-making
+ SOP adherence
+ Basic chemistry knowledge
+ Batch mixing experience
Additional Qualifications
+ Strong communication skills and ability to maintain respectful interactions across all levels of the organization.
+ Problem-solving skills for equipment and process issues in collaboration with maintenance.
+ Ability to identify root causes of errors and apply corrective actions effectively.
+ Basic math and computer skills.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wharton, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
