Job Title: Distribution Designer (Remote)
Job Description
Our client is currently seeking experienced Joint Use/Distribution Designers to join their team in Houston, Texas, with options for remote work. This role requires candidates to have over one year of experience working with DDS and more than two years of experience in Joint Use.
Responsibilities
+ Design and develop distribution systems utilizing DDS (Distribution Design Studio).
+ Collaborate with utility companies to facilitate Joint Use projects.
+ Ensure accurate and efficient design plans for power delivery.
+ Support utility clients such as Centerpoint, AEP, or First Energy in project execution.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in Joint Use.
+ At least 1 year of experience in DDS supporting utilities.
+ Proficiency in distribution design and utility design.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Knowledge of OSP (Outside Plant) design principles.
+ Engineering or design within the power delivery sector.

This is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
