Mechanical Design Engineer – Pump Systems
Role Overview:
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of pump products tailored to customer specifications. This position requires hands-on collaboration with manufacturing, assembly, and project engineering teams to ensure seamless product realization from concept to submittal.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Custom Design: Interpret customer orders and design pump systems using SolidWorks and Creo.
+ Design Review & Troubleshooting: Analyze and refine designs to ensure functionality, manufacturability, and compliance with specifications.
+ Manufacturing Support: Provide technical support to factory operations and resolve production challenges.
+ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with assembly teams to optimize fabrication and assembly processes.
+ Documentation: Generate detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing drawings.
+ Project Handoff: Transition finalized designs to the project engineering team for submittal package creation.
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
+ 5–7 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering roles.
+ Proficiency in SolidWorks or Creo.
+ Strong understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes.
+ Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
+ Experience with pumps, rotating machinery, fluid control systems, or similar mechanical systems.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fresno, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $115000.00/hr.
