    Supply Chain Analyst

    A client of ours is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst for a contract role in supporting hospital operations by ensuring accurate and efficient supply chain and financial workflows. This role is responsible for reviewing requisitions, processing returns, resolving a significant backlog of match exceptions, and managing credit memos with a high level of accuracy. Strong finance acumen and hands-on experience with Workday are required to maintain compliance and operational efficiency in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

     

    Responsibilities of Supply Chain Analyst

     

    + Review and analyze purchase requisitions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with hospital supply chain policies.

    + Process returns and manage associated documentation in a timely and accurate manner.

    + Resolve a high volume of three-way match exceptions (PO, receipt, invoice), identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.

    + Manage and reconcile credit memos, ensuring proper application and financial accuracy.

    + Perform supply chain and financial analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.

    + Collaborate with finance, procurement, accounts payable, and clinical departments to resolve issues and improve workflow efficiency.

    + Utilize Workday to support requisitioning, financial tracking, reporting, and compliance requirements.

    + Ensure all supply chain activities adhere to healthcare and hospital regulatory standards and internal

    Requirements

    Skills/Qualifications of Supply Chain Analyst

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

    + Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or in a similar analytical role.

    + 5+ years of experience in supply chain analysis within the healthcare/hospital industry.

    + Healthcare/Hospital industry experience is required.

    + Demonstrated experience in supply chain analysis, procure-to-pay processes, and workflow optimization.

    + Strong finance and accounting knowledge, particularly related to requisitions, three-way match exceptions (PO, receipt, invoice), and credit memos.

    + Hands-on experience using Workday for supply chain and financial workflows.

    + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.

    + High level of accuracy and attention to detail when managing high-volume transactions and backlog resolution.

    + Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with finance, procurement, accounts payable, and clinical teams.

    + Ability to work independently while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and internal controls.

    + Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
