Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Sellersburg, Indiana. This contract-to-permanent position requires an individual who excels in managing financial records, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring accurate data entry. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and proficiency in QuickBooks to support our accounting operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable processes, including verifying invoices and ensuring timely payments.

• Handle accounts receivable tasks, such as generating invoices and tracking customer payments.

• Perform accurate data entry for financial transactions and maintain organized records.

• Utilize QuickBooks to manage and update accounting information efficiently.

• Process invoices and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Reconcile accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Assist with preparing financial reports and summaries as needed.

• Collaborate with other departments to address accounting-related inquiries.

• Maintain confidentiality and security of financial data.

• Support the team with additional administrative tasks related to accounting. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

• Familiarity with invoice processing and financial documentation.

• Ability to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies effectively.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Strong communication skills to interact with team members and clients.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
