Description We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to join our team on a contract basis. This position is located in Marina, California, and offers an excellent opportunity to provide essential HR support in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have experience handling administrative tasks within an HR department and must be bilingual in Spanish.
Responsibilities:
• Facilitate onboarding processes for contract associates, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
• Organize and update filing systems to maintain compliance and streamline records management.
• Perform various clerical tasks to support HR operations and department goals.
• Provide guidance to supervisors on employee relations matters, including policy interpretation and disciplinary actions.
• Draft detailed correspondence such as disciplinary letters, leveraging available templates.
• Conduct minor internal investigations and assist in interviewing employees when necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to address employee concerns and provide effective solutions.
• Utilize HRIS systems, Microsoft Office, and other tools to manage data and generate reports.
• Mentor entry-level staff members to help them develop skills and knowledge in the HR field.
• Support the team in managing benefits functions and related processes. Requirements • At least 2 years of experience working in a Human Resources role; 5 years preferred for permanent positions.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required.
• Strong ability to perform hands-on, tactical tasks while managing complex HR responsibilities.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software tools.
• Excellent written communication skills for drafting precise and well-organized documentation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance, demonstrating confidence and attention to detail.
• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
