Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in West Chester, Pennsylvania. This contract position offers an opportunity to contribute to key financial operations by ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of supplier invoices while fostering strong vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounts payable processes and demonstrate a commitment to maintaining organized financial records.

Responsibilities:

• Process and validate incoming invoices and payment requests with accuracy and efficiency.

• Ensure vendors are paid on time by managing payment schedules and resolving any discrepancies.

• Perform invoice coding and align invoices with purchase orders to ensure proper documentation.

• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and address any variances or issues.

• Maintain well-organized records of invoices, payments, and other financial documentation.

• Communicate professionally with vendors to resolve inquiries and disputes.

• Collaborate with the team to support month-end closing tasks and other accounting projects.

• Utilize SAP and other accounting tools to streamline processes and improve accuracy.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounts payable function. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

• At least 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.

• Proficiency in accounting software, including SAP, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial operations.

• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain orderly records.

• Effective communication abilities to interact with vendors and internal stakeholders.

• Customer service mindset to address vendor concerns.
