Description

We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in South Suburbs of Illinois. In this position, you will oversee financial operations for non-U.S. affiliates, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in accounting and reporting practices. This is a contract role that requires strong expertise in financial management within the manufacturing industry.

The hourly range for this position is $80.00 to 90.00. Benefits available to contract professionals include medical, vision, dental, life and disability insurance. Responsibilities:

• Manage and expedite the monthly financial close process for international affiliates.

• Review accounting and reporting activities across multiple business units to ensure compliance and accuracy.

• Enhance documentation practices to improve financial transparency and accountability.

• Identify and analyze primary cost drivers to support strategic decision-making.

• Develop organizational structures for enhanced financial analysis and reporting.

• Consolidate financial statements from various entities into cohesive reports.

• Utilize advanced Excel skills to streamline financial analysis.

• Collaborate with teams to implement accounting software systems, such as Adaptive Insights or Hyperion.

• Ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures across all operations.

Requirements • Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, specifically within the manufacturing industry.

• Proven expertise in managing accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial modeling and analysis.

• Experience working with multiple organizational structures is essential.

• Familiarity with accounting software systems, such as Adaptive Insights or Hyperion, is a plus.

• International financial experience is preferred.

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of auditing and costing practices within manufacturing operations.
