Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and reporting for a portfolio of hotel properties. This role involves managing month-end processes, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization and contribute to budgeting, audits, and special projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the month-end close process for designated hotel properties, including preparing journal entries and reconciling various accounts.

• Review general ledger accounts monthly to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Generate and present financial statements for hotel entities on a regular basis.

• Calculate and process payments for sales, occupancy, and tourism taxes as required by local regulations.

• Oversee daily uploads from property systems and approve daily flash reporting.

• Reconcile intercompany balances across portfolios and the parent company.

• Facilitate utility setups for newly acquired properties.

• Participate in the preparation of annual budgets for hotel operations.

• Support annual audits by completing required schedules and providing supporting documentation.

• Contribute to special projects and assist with tasks related to real estate activities, funds, and investments. Requirements • Proven experience in month-end close processes, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliation.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial reporting.

• Familiarity with preparing and reviewing financial statements.

• Experience with tax compliance, including sales, occupancy, and tourism taxes.

• Ability to manage intercompany reconciliations and maintain accurate records.

• Proficiency in budgeting and audit preparation processes.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills to interact with leadership and property teams.

• Ability to adapt to various financial tasks and contribute to special projects effectively.
