Key Responsibilities

+ Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

+ Perform routine and preventive maintenance, including lubrication, adjustments, and part replacements

+ Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and determine appropriate repair solutions

+ Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to complete repairs safely and efficiently

+ Test and verify equipment functionality following repairs or maintenance

+ Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and maintenance documentation

+ Identify potential safety issues and recommend corrective actions

+ Comply with all company policies, safety regulations, and manufacturer specifications

+ Communicate repair status, findings, and recommendations to supervisors or customers

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Qualifications

+ High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred

+ Previous experience as a service mechanic or in a related mechanical role

+ Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and technical documents

+ Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

+ Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment

+ Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

+ Ability to work independently and communicate with the team

+ Strong time management and organizational skills

+ Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs or more

+ Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined spaces for extended periods

+ Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination

+ Ability to work for extended periods on feet

+ Work performed in shop, field, or customer-site locations

+ Exposure to noise, grease, fumes, and dust

+ May require overtime or travel for training
