    Description

    Robert Half is partnering with a Lake Geneva area client in the recruiting for a Billing Specialist to join their accounting and finance team. The Billing Specialist will be responsible for ensuring accurate preparation, processing, and management of invoices, as well as supporting other billing functions critical to the organization’s revenue cycle.

     

    This is a permanent placement opportunity Mon - Fri offering health insurance, paid time off, retirement matching and flexible hours.

    Responsibilities:

    + Prepare, review, and issue client invoices in accordance with company policies and core requirements

    + Verify billing data, resolve discrepancies, and maintain comprehensive records of billed items

    + Assist with contract terms and conditions, ensuring compliance on billed transactions

    + Communicate with clients and internal teams regarding billing questions or outstanding invoices

    + Support revenue transactions and reporting, collaborating with finance and accounting teams as needed

    + Help prepare reports related to billing, collections, and reconciliation for internal review and management

    + Ensure adherence to regulatory and company compliance requirements in all billing activities

    Requirements

    • 1+ years of experience with billing and invoicing functions

    • Familiarity with computerized billing systems and tools

    • Strong attention to detail and ability to reconcile accounts accurately

    • Effective communication skills for client and team interactions.

    • Knowledge of billing collection processes and statement preparation

    • Ability to calculate adjustments, credits, and usage-based charges efficiently.
