Description We are looking for a motivated IT Support Technician (Tier I) to provide first-level technical assistance to internal employees in a hybrid work environment. This role involves hands-on support, including troubleshooting, device setup, and resolving technical issues, ensuring smooth operations for end-users. As part of a dynamic team, you will handle customer-facing responsibilities and escalate advanced issues as necessary. This contract position is perfect for someone early in their IT career who is eager to grow and develop their technical expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve common technical issues related to hardware, software, and peripherals for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.

• Set up and configure laptops and mobile devices, including imaging and enrollment into Microsoft Intune.

• Provide assistance with Microsoft 365 applications such as Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive, addressing user concerns and performing account-related tasks.

• Deliver basic support for conference room technology, ensuring smooth operation during meetings and addressing AV-related issues.

• Manage support tickets using tools like Freshworks or Monday.com, ensuring timely updates and effective communication with users.

• Track IT assets, maintain inventory records, and coordinate equipment transfers to ensure accurate documentation.

• Create and maintain IT documentation, contributing to knowledge articles and identifying trends in recurring issues.

• Promote IT security best practices, including password management and device safety, while escalating potential security concerns.

• Adhere to established service level agreements (SLAs) for response and resolution times of Tier I support requests.

• Assist with troubleshooting device compliance issues, applications, and updates to maintain operational efficiency. Requirements • Proficiency in PC desktop and workstation support, including hardware troubleshooting.

• Knowledge of Active Directory for account management and user support.

• Experience with desktop hardware setup and configuration.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 10 operating system and related troubleshooting.

• Ability to perform desktop imaging tasks and support device enrollment processes.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to assist users both in person and remotely.

• Detail-oriented approach to ticket management and documentation.
