As

a Strategic Procurement Specialist within Siemens Energy’s Aeroderivative Gas

Turbine procurement team, you will play a key role in developing and running a

competitive, transparent, and sustainable supply chain. Your day will involve

collaborating with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive productivity,

quality and digitalization. You will be responsible for supplier negotiations,

contract management, and strategic sourcing to ensure the procurement function

contributes to affordable clean energy.

How You’ll Make an Impact

+ Implement commodity strategiesand define local/regional sourcing strategies by analyzing market trends,identifying new suppliers and leverage insights to optimize procurementstrategy.

+ Leadsourcing actives, projects and negotiations for complex aerospace andindustrial type components to optimize cost opportunities and contractcoverage and undertake contractual and price negotiations with keysuppliers.Supportinternal procurement transformation programs.

+ Plan negotiations, define awarding strategies, and prepare sourcingboard approvals while ensuring alignment with commodity strategy.

+ Manage relationships with assigned suppliers, contributing toEcoSystem commodity strategy and developing a preferred supplier list.Conduct regular business review with strategic suppliers.

+ Identify and mitigate procurement risks while implementingstrategic measures.

+ Ensure a close cooperation with internal customers to ensurecustomer care and early involvement. Foster usageof e-procurement tools with the vision to enhance data, increaseautomation, drive standardization of management information dashboards,and encourage supplier collaboration.

What You Bring

+ Bachelor’sdegree supply chain management, business administration, or in arelated field.

+ 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing/commodity managementwith a complex, and global environment.

+ Excellent commercial, contractual, and project management acumen. Familiarwith component manufacturing process and quality standards. Experienceworking with a supply supplier base in a matrix organization.

+ Knowledge of working with a global supplier base, in a matrixenvironment.

+ Outstanding communication, presentation, and stakeholder managementskills. Outstanding Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

+ Analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and SAP. Strongnegotiation skills.

Gas Services

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
