Marine Corps Heritage Foundation is seeking a Development Services Coordinator to support ongoing fundraising efforts of the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation through the coordination of gift processing and fulfillment operations, database management and data analysis relating to the Foundation's individual giving, planned giving and special development programs. Location/Schedule: Fully in-person: This is an in-person position located at 1775 Semper Fidelis Way, Triangle, VA 22172. This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work. Responsibilities: * Gift Processing * Manage the batch files, contribution backups, file boxes, and file box registry * Process all gift adjustments and generate necessary correspondence * Assist database administrator (DBA) with remote gift processing * Preparation of all clean batches and necessary paperwork * Manage batch range file for processing * Assist DBA with any missing info necessary for processing * Complete all report paperwork and file the completed batches * Assist lockbox vendor (DMP) as needed * Work with vendor on oddities that occur * Gifts for another nonprofit deposited in MCHF account * Errors on data entry by DMP * Paperwork errors on batch reports * End of year gift processing methods * Accurately record contributions in development database * Gift batch data entry and reporting * Distribution of contribution backup to appropriate parties * Retention of contribution backup * Acknowledgement/Fulfillment * Assist as needed with generating and mailing acknowledgement letters * Maintain appropriate stock levels of fulfillment materials both in-house and at vendor locations * Engraved brick program * Ensure brick inscriptions are entered correctly * Assist as needed with processing inscriptions, brick changes, pictures and installations * Produce and mail brick certificates monthly * Donor Services * Planned Giving - send PG Manager inquiries received via Direct Mail, email and phone inquiries * Phone/Email/Letter requests - work with various departments as necessary to resolve donor inquiries * Work with Development Staff as needed on: * Special membership programs * Donor info for planned and major giving programs * Accomplish all tasks appropriately assigned or requested Requirements: Education/Experience: * 4-year degree in or a related field * 2+ years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience * 2+ years supervisory experience * Experience working in a non-profit or military organization preferred Technological Skills: * Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel * Proficient in Google Workspace * Working knowledge of The Raiser's Edge 7 or comparable database software Required Knowledge and Skills: * Excellent written and verbal communications skills * Professionalism with both internal and external customers * Ability to communicate with a variety of people, both internal and external * Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment * Ability to initiate and follow through on work independently * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Detail-oriented * Excellent time management skills * Excellent organizational skills * Ability to meet assigned deadlines * Ability to adapt to changing priorities * Excellent customer service skills * Strong multi-tasking abilities * Ability to mentor, train and provide career path guidance to staff EEO Statement: The Marine Corps Heritage Foundation is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The employee interacts in close spaces and frequently with other workers, vendors, and clients. May be in situations which require conflict resolution. The position works in an office environment with artificial light and air.
