Traffic Control Supervisor – UNC Charlotte Campus Events
About the Role: We are seeking a dependable and experienced Traffic Control Supervisor to lead traffic control attendants during major campus events at UNC Charlotte. These events include move-in/move-out days, football and basketball games, commencement ceremonies, and other campus activities. This role ensures smooth traffic flow, safety, and exceptional customer service for students, visitors, and staff. Must have reliable transportation to drive around campus during events. Mileage reimbursement is provided.
Responsibilities:
+ Supervise and coordinate traffic control attendants during campus events.
+ Ensure compliance with safety protocols and event-specific traffic plans.
+ Communicate effectively with event organizers and campus security.
+ Resolve on-site issues promptly and professionally.
+ Provide leadership and support to team members throughout each event.
Schedule: Hours and days vary based on campus event schedules. Flexibility is essential.
Qualifications:
+ Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
+ Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
+ Must be dependable and able to manage a team effectively.
+ Reliable transportation to drive around campus during events.
