About this role:
Conduct Analytics & Reporting (CAR)
CAR is responsible for providing actionable information through (1) the identification of emerging risks, themes, and trends, (2) day-to-day operational analytics and reporting; (3) executive analytics and reporting; and (4) risk, regulatory and audit analytics and reporting.
CAR is looking for a data and analytics SME to join our " **Data Enablement** " team.
In this role, you will:
Be responsible for eliciting and documenting requirements, data mapping and metadata in support of data and analytics initiatives and in line with audit requirements. Deliver in a fast-paced environment with focus on completeness, clarity and accuracy while managing risk.
_Specifically, you will:_
+ Lead the requirements design and elicitation for small and large data initiatives
+ Build functional systems design documentation
+ Document data elements, mapping and metrics for traceability/lineage and use in reports
+ Document and maintain metadata
+ Prepare specifications for system changes
+ Create documentation for training, help resolve questions and recommend changes
+ Establish partnership with insights and reporting teams, lines of business, technology and allegation management teams.
+ Communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats
+ Self-direct and lead others to complete multiple tasks and meet aggressive time frames
+ Be a strong influencer and consensus builder with a positive attitude, who motivates self and others
+ Collaborate across people, processes, and technology/tools within a highly intensive and complex data environment
+ Be comfortable presenting and tailoring communication approaches based on the audience
Required Qualifications:
+ 7+ years of Analytics, Reporting, Financial Modeling or Statistics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
+ 7+ years of business systems analysis experience
+ 5+ years of data warehouse experience
+ 5+ years of SQL experience
+ 2+ years of Jira experience
+ 3+ years of banking industry experience
+ 2+ years of SAS experience
+ 2+ years of Linux experience
+ 2+ years of GCP, AWS, Fabric (cloud) experience
+ 2+ years of service now experience
+ 2+ years of Python experience
+ 1+ years of project management experience
+ Experience with Agile project methodologies
+ Experience leveraging Jira tools for workflow and productivity
+ Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Job Expectations:
+ This position is located in uptown Charlotte, NC under a hybrid model.
+ Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
