Position Overview:
Assists in preparing for and during surgery by performing routine and delegated duties according to standards and policies of the department and hospital to assure quality patient care.
**Job Description** :
EDUCATION
+ _Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma._
+ HS Diploma: High School or General Education (GED) or equivalent education/experience
+ Other: Completion of a formal accredited Operating Room Technician program
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
+ BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
+ Two (2) years scrubbing experience at CPMC required
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
+ Basic knowledge of surgical procedures, equipment, and supplies.
+ Requires communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
+ Requires flexibility to accommodate emergencies as well as changing schedules and priorities.

Pay Range is $53.30 to $63.69 / hour
_The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled.
