    Job Description

    We’re seeking a Fiber and Copper Installation Technician to support a new data center build in Montgomery, AL. This role involves installing and splicing both fiber and copper cabling in a fast-paced construction environment. If you have experience with cabling and are committed to safety and quality, this is a solid opportunity to work on critical infrastructure projects.

     

    What You’ll Do

     

    + Install and splice fiber optic and copper cabling

    + Perform terminations and ensure proper labeling and testing

    + Work onsite in a construction environment, adhering to all safety standards

    + Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to meet project deadlines

    + Participate in safety training and wear required protective equipment

     

    What You Bring

     

    + Hands-on experience with fiber installation and splicing

    + Experience with copper installation and splicing

    + Strong communication and listening skills

    + Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

    + Ability to work onsite and comply with safety protocols

     

    Nice to Have

     

    + Familiarity with data center builds and structured cabling standards

    + Previous experience in telecom or low-voltage environments

    + Ability to travel for future projects

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Montgomery, AL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
